More and more often, we get the demand for a dashcam for on bikes. A bicycle dashcam can of course be useful to record traffic situations or scenic routes or as evidence in accidents. The problem with ‘standard’ dashcams is that they need and power supply in the car. This can be with a normal USB port, however these are not on most bikes (maybe not a bad idea for electric bikes). Innovv is a well-known dashcam for motorbikes, they have recently launched a special dashcam for bikes: The Innovv K6 bike.

The Innovv K6 consists of a front and rear camera, the front one of which you connect to a battery pack. At the press of a button, the camera starts filming. We may have a special Nitecore power bank available that you can mount on the frame of the bike.

An alternative to the Innovv K6 is to use an action cam such as a GoPro or SJCam. The advantage of an action cam is that you charge it at home and therefore don't need to connect it to a power bank. The disadvantage is that it is often one camera so you can often only record in front of you.
