Looking for a parking camera for your car? What not many people know is that a dashcam can very easily be used as the perfect parking camera for your car. Most 2CH dual dashcams from AZDome (with rear camera) have an extra power supply on the rear camera that can be connected to the reversing lights. When you put the car in reverse, the image from the rear camera is then automatically displayed on the LCD screen of the front dashcam along with convenient parking lines.

A separate parking camera always needs to be connected to an existing LCD screen in the car, which is far from always present. If you do have one, it is often difficult to access and you have to open up the dashboard. A dashcam already has an LCD screen, so it is ideal to use it as a parking camera as well. Connecting the extra power supply for the parking camera is not that complicated; you can often access it from the boot.

Some handy dashcams as a parking aid are the AZDome M63 Pro and the Nanocam T55. The latter is perhaps best suited as a parking camera because it is a fully digital interior mirror. It therefore has a large LCD screen on which the parking camera is clearly visible.
