A mirror or interior mirror dashcam is a kind of digital rear-view mirror with a unique design that acts as both an interior mirror and dashcam. The design of a dashcam interior mirror makes the dashcam barely noticeable to the driver and from the outside. The image of the dashcam can be displayed in the mirror for easy menu control and viewing of recordings.
Since 2021, so-called Full Mirror mirrors have been available. These are basically fully digital interior mirrors with second rear camera where the image of the rear dashcam is fully displayed on the large LCD touchscreen screen. The advantage of this is that the view through the interior mirror is a lot better because the interior of the car is no longer visible; after all, the rear dashcam is attached to the rear window or bumper of the car.
