The Dashcam Y900 is a beautiful 2CH camera with a very handy large 4.0’ LCD screen. The camera films with two cameras, recording almost everything around the car. The front camera films with sharp 1080p resolution, while the rear camera is a VGA camera. The Dashcam Y900 also features a parking mode to secure the car and has a built-in G-sensor, speaker, microphone and a viewing angle of 140˚ at the front and 90˚ at the back.
This Dashcam Y900 has two cameras that can record images simultaneously. The included external camera can be attached to the rear window to allow filming behind the car as well. The inconspicuous little external camera films at VGA resolution and is also equipped with LEDs for better viewing in the dark when reversing (needs to be connected separately, cable for this is included). In fact, the images from the rear camera are also shown on the 4’ screen. The camera comes with a 6-metre cable to mount the small bumper camera in any desired location.
Thanks to the large 4.0-inch screen on the Dashcam Y900, images are clearly displayed. Images from the rear camera are displayed on the screen via PIP (Picture in Picture). Also, menu settings can of course be changed on the screen.
Thanks to the 140° wide angle lens on this Dashcam Y900 dashcam, the camera has a very wide range and a large part is filmed from inside the car. The rear camera has a viewing angle of 90 degrees.
This Dashcam Y900 dashcam has a built-in speaker and microphone. Sound is therefore recorded by the camera and can also be played back through the camera.
The Dashcam Y900 supports cycle recording, which automatically deletes old footage from the MicroSD card and overwrites it for new footage when the card is full. This allows continued filming when the MicroSD card is full. The camera supports SD cards up to 32gb.
The Dashcam Y900 starts filming automatically when the car is started. So you no longer have to look at it when it's hanging in the car. The prerequisite for this is that it is connected to the power supply in the car.
With its built-in G-sensor, the camera notices when you have had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The Y900 features a parking mode that allows the dashcam to secure the car while parking. With motion detection and G-sensor, the camera automatically starts filming when movements or vibrations are detected.
The Dashcam Y900 supports MicroSD cards up to 32gb. This is good for about 8 hours of FullHD videos.
