What makes the Wolfbox i17 unique are the three cameras that record everything in and around the car. The front dashcam has two cameras. The front camera films everything that happens in front of the car and the second camera films the interior of the car. The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with a 6-meter cable and records everything behind the car.
What immediately stands out about this Wolfbox i17 is the large and bright 3.0 inch LCD screen. The screen displays live images and settings can be changed. You can also easily watch recorded videos.
The i17 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam films with very high-quality 4K 3840p resolution at 30fps on the front and FullHD on the inside and back. The i17 3CH delivers excellent performance, especially in the dark. The 8.0 Megapixel Sony Starvis IMX335 sensor in this dashcam guarantees crystal clear videos. The i17 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam comes standard with a FullHD rear camera. This rear camera is attached to the rear window of the car and records in FullHD 1080p 30fps. The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with a long cable (6 meters). The camera does not require an additional power supply. The images from both cameras are stored separately on the SD card. A 10-meter extension cable is available as an option.
The Wolfbox i17 3CH is equipped with superfast 5.8GHz Wifi, allowing for faster video downloads. The Wifi has a range of about 10 meters and the Wolfbox App is available for Android and iPhone phones. Settings can also be easily changed via the App.
The Wolfbox i17 3CH has a handy automatic time-lapse and vibration parking mode to secure the car while parked. In time-lapse mode, the camera takes a photo every second, which are later played back as accelerated 30fps video. Time-lapse recordings are slightly less detailed and therefore take up less data on the SD card.
The vibration parking mode ensures that a normal video is recorded in the event of a collision or other vibration. These incidents are therefore recorded in detail.
Please note: To use parking mode, you must use the Wolfbox hardwire kit. Parking mode cannot be turned on or off manually.
The i17 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module displays the speed and also keeps track of the coordinates of the locations filmed. This allows you to use the included software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
This i17 3CH comes with a 64 GB Micro SD card, good for approximately 8 hours of 4K + 2x FullHD recording. It supports Micro SD cards up to 256 GB, which means approximately 32 hours of recording.
The body of the i17 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam can be rotated 150 degrees vertically, allowing you to always point it in the right direction.
