This Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is the updated version of the A129 Duo with stunning 4K resolution on the front and Full HD on the back. Besides the image quality, this Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with super-fast and stable Dual-Band Wifi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), it comes standard with GPS holder and there is the possibility to control it with a Bluetooth SOS button.
Because the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with two cameras, this dashcam allows recording in front and behind the car. The front dashcam records at 4K resolution in 3840 x 2160p 30fps and the one behind at 1080p Full HD 30fps. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long supplied 6-metre cable. Images from the rear camera are stored separately on the SD card. The 2.0-inch LCD screen displays the rear camera on one-fourth of the screen via PiP (Picture in Picture).
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with dual-band Wifi, making file transfer very fast and the network very reliable. Via the Viofo App, images can be directly viewed and downloaded via the wifi on any iOS and Android phone and tablet.
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K films with image quality. The super-fast Novatek 96663 chip combined with the two SONY sensors ensures that all details are clearly visible, even in the dark. When the rear camera is not connected, the A129 Pro Duo 4K films at 1080p 60fps.
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K is equipped with an automatic parking mode with motion detection or Time Lapse. With motion detection, the camera is on standby and starts recording for 30 seconds when a motion is detected. In Time Lapse, the camera continuously records a 1fps video that can later be played back (sped up) as 30fps video. This way, evidence is always available if the car has been damaged while parked.
Note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Continuous power supply for the Viofo A129 (optional accessory). If connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car ignition is turned off and switch to normal recording when the car is started.
With the handy optional Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K at the touch of a button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K by turning on the dashcam and pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will illuminate blue if the connection has been successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere within the vehicle using the sticker provided.
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K comes standard with a GPS module. The GPS enables the current speed to be displayed in the image. This can be decisive as evidence in case of an incident. The GPS also remembers the location of the places where the dashcam was filmed. Via the software on the PC, the route travelled can therefore be viewed.
The GPS is integrated in the holder that is attached to the windscreen. Optionally, an extra GPS holder can be ordered if the dashcam is used in several vehicles. The GPS holders remain fixed to the windscreen and the camera can therefore be switched easily between vehicles.
This Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam has a 2.0-inch LCD screen. The screen displays live images and allows easy menu control. If desired, the built-in screensaver automatically turns off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes so it does not interfere with the driver.
With its 130˚ + 140˚ wideview ‘fish eye’ lens, the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K has a long range and captures almost everything in the environment.
The 1.6 aperture and 7G lens captures a lot of light, making the quality of the images very good both during the day and in the dark.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at both very high and very low light intensities. As a result, the camera captures razor-sharp images in bright daytime and low light at night.
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. The WDR thus guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.
The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam starts filming automatically when the car is started. So you no longer need to look at it when it's hanging in the car. The prerequisite for this is that it is connected to the power supply in the car.
With its built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam notices when you've been in an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically saved securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AV output allows the dashcam image to be displayed on an external monitor, such as a built-in car navigation system. An AV cable is required to transfer the images.
The optional CPL filter ensures optimum protection and image quality under sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts for the dashcam like Polaroid sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV rays are filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. This improves the image quality and durability of the camera.
