This LUKAS H900 4K is one of the best dashcams currently available. Sharp 4K + FullHD image quality, Wifi, GPS and a Touchscreen screen make this LUKAS H900 4K one of the most versatile dashcams. The ADAS 3.0 security feature also supports you as a driver in dangerous situations on the road.
Note: Only a hardwire kit is supplied with this dashcam as standard. A cigarette power supply is optionally available (see accessories).
This high-quality LUKAS H900 records very sharp images in 4K + FullHD resolution. All details such as license plates and people are therefore well captured so you don't have to miss a thing. The front camera has a 12.35MP Sony Exmor sensor with a viewing angle of 132˚which also performs excellently in the dark. In the rear camera is a 2.1 Sony Starvis sensor with viewing angle of 141˚.
The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with an included 5-metre cable, so you don't need a separate power supply for the rear camera. Footage from both cameras is stored on the Micro SD card in the front dashcam. For longer vehicles, an 11m cable is optionally available.
This LUKAS H900 4K uses the latest H.265 HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) technology to store the images on the Micro SD card. In short, this means that the LUKAS H900 4K uses less memory than other FullHD dashcams. So the files are indeed of the best quality but do not take up too much memory on the Micro SD card.
This LUKAS H900 4K has a large and bright 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD screen. On the screen, all videos can be viewed live and recorded videos can be played back. Also, the LCD screen can be conveniently used to change menu settings. One-touch switching between the front and rear camera is possible, and both cameras can also be displayed simultaneously. This also makes the H900 4K very useful as a reverse camera.
The updated and even more accurate ADAS 3.0 system on this LUKAS H900 4K is a built-in ‘Advanced Driver Assistant System’. This system supports the driver with alerts while driving in three ways:
FCWS: ‘Forward Collision Warning System’. This system issues a warning when approaching a vehicle in front at high speed. The system alerts, for example, when there is a traffic jam in front of the car. With a good GPS signal, the current speed is known and the camera can make a good estimate of the situation around the car.
LDWS: ‘Lane Departure Warning System’. When the car is in danger of changing lanes on the motorway, the camera can give a signal.
FVSA: ‘Forward Vehicle Start Alarm’. Do you also sometimes fail to pay attention when standing at traffic lights? This system gives a warning when a vehicle ahead starts to move away, for example at a traffic light or in a traffic jam.
A new feature of the ADAS 3.0 is the TTC (Time to Collision) and DTC (Distance to Collision), which display the time and distance from the car in front, respectively.
*The ADAS system works better in some locations than others depending on the type of lane. Therefore, we cannot guarantee perfect operation of the system and it is important to always keep a close eye on yourself while driving.
The LUKAS H900 4K is equipped with Wifi. This Wifi can be used to connect to the H900 4K dashcam via smartphone or tablet. The specially designed LUKAS app for iOS and Android provides seamless access to the dashcam to instantly share all recorded videos with all your acquaintances. Through the Wifi, the dashcam's settings can also be changed and saved recorded footage can be viewed. Another great advantage of the Wifi functionality in this dashcam is the automatic firmware update that can be performed.
The LUKAS H900 4K can record images in five different ways:
Regular recording: The regular recordings made by the camera are stored on the SD card in fragments of 3 or 5 minutes. When the SD card is full, the oldest images are automatically deleted and overwritten by new fragments.
Event recording: In the event of an impact, the built-in G-sensor is activated and the camera will make an event recording (indicated by a warning signal). the 10 seconds before the impact and 20 seconds after the impact are stored securely on the MicroSD and cannot be deleted by the camera.
Parking mode (motion detection): In parking mode, a 30-second fragment is stored on the regular SD card when a movement is detected. Again, the 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after detection are saved.
Parking mode (Time lapse): In this mode, a picture is taken every second which can later be played back as a time lapse video. In this way, about 15 hours of video can be stored with a 32gb SD card.
Emergency recording: A manual 30-second Emergency recording can be started at the touch of a button and is saved on the MicroSD card.
The LUKAS H900 comes standard with Continuous Power Supply to ensure a nice and professional installation. The hardwire kit is also required for automatic parking mode, which switches the dashcam into parking mode the moment the car is turned off.
The design of the LUKAS H900 4K allows it to be mounted very discreetly in almost any vehicle. As it is placed at an angle on the windscreen behind the interior mirror, the dashcam is barely visible to the driver and from outside.
The LUKAS H900 4K supports Micro SD cards up to 512gb, which is good for about 120 hours of videos. The H900 4K comes with a 128gb Micro SD card as standard. This Micro SD card is specially designed for use in LUKAS cameras. They can withstand many read and write cycles and can withstand large temperature changes. In addition, they are fast enough to cope with lots of data from 4K recordings.
Because of the built-in GPS in the H900 4K, all coordinates of the locations where is stored. The GPS also allows the current speed to be displayed on screen.
The handy format-free function in this LUKAS H900 4K dashcam eliminates the need to format the Micro SD card. The software takes care of the formatting itself to keep the SD card functioning perfectly.
The smart LUKAS H900 4K dashcam has a built-in low voltage cut-off system. Through this system, the dashcam detects when the car battery is about to run out and, if so, immediately switches off the camera. The minimum voltage can be set to take into account the type of car and season. With this built-in system, the H900 4K can be used without worry to secure car when parked.
The LUKAS H900 4K has a security LED built into the front and rear camera. This can alert potential vandals that a dashcam is being filmed in the car. The LEDs can be switched on and off in the menu if desired.
By using the best materials and the most careful assembly, the LUKAS H900 4K can withstand extreme temperatures. The camera can operate at temperatures between -20˚C and +60˚C.
