The Innovv K5 is the new absolute best in motorbike dashcams. This dashcam is the latest addition to the Innovv range of motorbike dashcams and films with razor-sharp Ultra HD 4K resolution at the front and FullHD at the rear. The design has been changed from the K3, with the front camera incorporated into the module on this Innovv K5. This clever design requires fewer cables and makes installation much easier.
The dashcam is equipped with an 8 megapixel front camera and Sony IMX camera at the back. The image quality is therefore second to none. The footage is in 30fps and even in the dark, the videos are of excellent quality. The front camera is incorporated in the module which needs to be powered. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a 2.5-metre cable.
The renewed Innovv K5 comes with a handy remote control as standard. You place this remote control on the handlebar, for example, and connect it to the module with a cable. At the press of a button, you can save a recording securely and take a photo. This ensures that remarkable situations on the road are no longer automatically overwritten by loop recording. Hold the button longer to reset the Innovv K5's factory settings.
The Motor dashcam is fully IP67 certified, which means that all parts can withstand the most extreme conditions. The module and rear camera can therefore be mounted anywhere.
This motor camera comes with a 5Hz GPS receiver. Thanks to the external IP67 waterproof GPS receiver, location and speed are tracked super fast and continuously. The app can also be used later to check which route was travelled and where the dashcam was filmed.
The Innovv K5 is equipped with super-fast Dual-Band Wifi. The 2.4 and 5.8 Ghz Wifi on the Motor camera ensures that high quality images can be downloaded to your phone super fast. Via the app, you can also change numerous settings such as resolution, loop recording, G-sensor sensitivity, time lapse recording, etc. Also, any newly available firmware can be downloaded and installed very easily.
The camera is equipped with a convenient automatic parking mode. In parking mode, the camera records a 1-minute video when a vibration is detected, for example when someone bumps into the motorbike. The parking mode on the Innovv K5 can be activated in the App and automatically activates when the engine ignition is turned off. The parking mode is activated only when the battery voltage is 12.5V or higher to thus protect the battery from being drained.
This K5 from Innovv supports FAT32 cards up to 512gb, which is good for around 50 hours of FullHD recording. SD cards must be formatted in the camera before use. This can easily be done via the app.
The dashcam has a built-in microphone so that sound in and around the motorbike is also recorded.
The dashcam cameras have a diagonal viewing angle of 120˚. When mounting, make sure to keep the Innovv logo at the top so the cameras record upright.
With the smart 5V converter included, the Innovv K5 is always supplied with the right power and voltage level. It has a built-in 10-second delay to catch peak and off-peak voltages, thus not damaging the DVR.
The dashcam automatically starts filming when the engine is started and stops filming when it is turned off. So you don't have to look at it after it is attached.
With its built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you've had an unexpected collision. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are no longer lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The current time and date are always displayed on screen so that it can later be shown at what time the relevant recordings were made.
