This AZDome M660 4CH dashcam is specially designed to monitor everything in and around your car. The dashcam is equipped with no fewer than four cameras, so that absolutely everything is recorded. It is equipped with 128GB eMMC memory, making an SD card superfluous. In addition to an extensive parking mode, the AZDome M660 4CH is equipped with Wifi and GPS.
What makes this AZDome M660 dashcam unique are the four separate cameras. The main unit, which is attached to the windshield, is equipped with a 2K camera that films the road. On the sides are two swivel cameras that can be rotated in all directions. This makes the M660 4CH the ideal dashcam for parking security for your car. The two interior cameras are equipped with infrared LEDs, which makes the images very clear at night.
This AZDome M660 films with 2K resolution with the front camera. The other three cameras film in FullHD. All images are simultaneously stored on the memory and the file names of the cameras are labeled with their own reference.
The videos can be viewed and played on the 3.0 inch LCD screen, and the menu can be easily operated. The cameras' display can be adjusted so that all cameras are displayed simultaneously or individually. The screensaver function automatically turns off the screen after 1 minute of driving so that you are not too bothered while driving.
The M660 4CH is equipped with superfast 5GHz Wifi. This allows all images to be viewed quickly and easily via a smartphone. The Wifi has a range of about 5 meters. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. The images can be viewed and downloaded via the app, so the SD card no longer needs to be removed from the camera.
The AZDome M660 is equipped with English-language voice control, allowing you to operate it easily without using your hands. For example, a (secure) recording can be started or Wifi can be turned on via voice command.
The M660 4CH 4K 64gb has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also keeps track of the coordinates of the locations filmed. This allows you to use the included software to see exactly where certain shots were taken.
The M660 4CH dashboard camera has a handy automatic parking mode. The parking mode has three options:
Time lapse: The camera films continuously via time lapse. In this mode, the camera takes a photo every second that can later be played back as accelerated video. Time lapse is an economical recording mode, which means that the dashcam does not use too much power or data. This allows for up to 30 times more videos to be stored on the memory.
Motion detection: The camera is in standby mode (it is on but not recording). When motion is detected, a normal recording of 1 minute is started.
Vibration detection: The camera turns off after the ignition is switched off. When a vibration is detected, the camera turns on and starts recording.
Off: The camera continues recording at the set resolution. The parking mode is not activated.
* The automatic parking mode of the M660 4CH only works in combination with the optional AZDome JYX05 or OBD USB-C hardwire kit and cannot be turned on and off manually. In combination with the hardwire kit, the camera will automatically go into parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and will start recording normally when you start the car again. This makes the M660 4CH ideal for use as car security.
The M660 4CH is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera will continue to film even when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments stored in the memory will then be deleted and automatically overwritten by new images. You can set the length of the fragments to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. The loop recording can also be turned off, in which case the camera will make one long recording. Note that the camera will stop filming if the memory becomes full.
A unique feature of this AZDome M660 4CH 4K is the durable and innovative internal 128GB eMMC memory. eMMC (Embedded Multimedia Card) is a new way of storing files in which the memory is incorporated into the device. With eMMC, an external SD card is no longer necessary and eMMC is also much more durable than regular SD cards. According to AZDome, the lifespan of the M660 is about ten times longer when using eMMC than when using normal SD cards.
Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is able to generate sharp images at very high and very low light intensities. This allows the camera to record razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.
The AZDome M660 has a 120˚ wide-angle lens on the front. All other cameras have a 150˚ lens. In total, the dashcam is therefore able to record at least 360˚ around the car.
The AZDome M660 4CH dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you no longer have to keep an eye on it when it is in the car. This is on the condition that it is connected to the cigarette lighter power supply in the car. If you use the optional hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch in and out of parking mode.
The dashcam's built-in G-sensor means it will detect if you have been in an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically saved to a secure location so they cannot be lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AZDome M660 4CH has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with one press of the screen.
The date, time and license plate can be displayed at the bottom of each video so that it can be shown later when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be of decisive importance when assessing situations and determining fault for the police and/or insurance company.
