This AZDome M660 4CH dashcam is specially designed to keep an eye on everything in and around your car. The dashcam is equipped with no less than four cameras, allowing it to record everything. It is equipped with 128gb eMMC memory eliminating the need for an SD card. Besides an extended parking mode, the AZDome M660 4CH is equipped with Wifi and GPS.
The unique feature of this AZDome M660 dashcam is its four separate cameras. The main unit that mounts on the windscreen is equipped with a 2K camera that films the road. On the sides are two swivelling cameras that can be rotated in all directions. This makes the M660 4CH the ideal dashcam as a parking lock for your car. The two interior cameras are equipped with infrared LEDs, making the images very clear at night.
This AZDome M660 films at 2K resolution with the front camera. The other three cameras film in FullHD. All images are simultaneously stored on memory and the file names of the cameras are referenced.
On the 3.0-inch LCD screen, videos can be viewed and displayed and the menu easily operated. The display of the cameras can be adjusted so that all cameras are displayed simultaneously or individually. With the screensaver function, the screen automatically turns off after 1 minute of driving so that you are not too bothered while driving.
The M660 4CH is equipped with super-fast 5GHz Wifi. This allows all images to be viewed easily and quickly via smartphone. The Wifi has a range of about 5 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. Via the app, images can be viewed and downloaded, eliminating the need to remove the SD card from the camera.
The AZDome M660 is equipped with English-language voice control, making it easy to operate without using your hands. The voice command can be used to start a (secure) recording or turn on Wifi, for example.
The M660 4CH 4K 64gb has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also keeps track of the coordinates of the places filmed. This allows you to later use the supplied software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
The M660 4CH dashboard camera features a convenient automatic parking mode. The parking mode has three options:
Time lapse: The camera films continuously via Time lapse. In this mode, the camera takes a picture every second that can later be played back as accelerated video. Time lapse is an economical recording mode which means the dashcam does not consume too much power and data. Up to 30 times more videos can therefore be stored on memory.
Motion detection: The camera is in standby mode (is on but not recording). When motion is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started. This function only works on the front camera.
Vibration detection: The camera turns off after turning off the ignition. When a vibration is detected, the camera starts and a recording begins.
Off: The camera simply continues filming at the set resolution. Parking mode is not switched on.
* The automatic parking mode of the M660 4CH only works in combination with the optionally available AZDome JYX05 or OBD USB-C hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually. In combination with the hardwire kit, the camera automatically goes into parking mode when the car ignition is switched off and normal recording starts when you start the car again. So it's ideal to use this M660 4CH for car security.
The M660 4CH is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera just keeps on filming when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments stored in memory are then deleted and automatically overwritten for new footage. The length of the clips can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be turned off, in which case the camera takes one long picture. Note that in doing so, the camera stops filming if the memory becomes full.
Unique to this AZDome M660 4CH 4K is the durable and innovative internal 128gb eMMC memory. eMMC (Embedded Multimedia Card) is a new way of file storage where the memory is embedded in the device. Because of eMMC, an external SD card is no longer needed and eMMC is also a lot more durable than regular SD cards. According to AZDome, by using eMMC in this M560, its lifespan is about 10 times longer than using regular SD cards.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at very high as well as very low light intensity. As a result, the camera captures razor-sharp images in bright daytime and low light at night.
The AZDome M660 has a 120˚ wide-angle lens on the front. All other cameras have a 150˚ lens. So in total, the dashcam is capable of recording at least in 360˚ around the car.
The AZDome M660 4CH dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you no longer need to look at it while it is hanging in the car. The condition for this is that it is connected to the power supply in the car using the cigarette power supply. If you use the optional Hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch in and out of parking mode.
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically saved securely so they are no longer lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AZDome M660 4CH has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with one touch of the screen.
The date, time and licence plate number can be displayed at the bottom of each video to later show when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be decisive when assessing situations and determining guilt for police and/or insurance.
