The AZDome M63 Pro is AZDome's latest flagship model. This high-quality and very fully equipped dashcam features the latest technologies and films with the sharpest Ultra 4K image quality. It comes with 64gb Micro SD card so you can get started right away. Wifi makes it easy to view and share all images, and the built-in GPS continuously tracks speed and location. A FullHD rear camera is optional to connect.
The AZDome M63 Pro 64gb dashcam is equipped with the latest 8.0MP image sensor that guarantees the sharpest Ultra 4K videos. It films at a resolution of 3840p*2160p in 25fps, but you can also let it record at FullHD 60fps. HDR technology ensures perfect image quality in all weather conditions. Also, the dashcam can take photos in 18M pixels.
Note: Due to the angled mounting on the windscreen, the AZDome M63 is less suitable for mounting in trucks or other vehicles with a vertical windscreen.
A unique feature of this M63 Pro 64gb is its bright and large 3.0-inch LCD screen. The screen shows what the camera is recording and a single press of a button can be used to enter the menu or take a picture. Recording can also be started and stopped or the microphone switched on or off. The menu interface is very user-friendly, making changing settings a breeze.
The M63 Pro can be expanded with a rear camera that can be mounted on the rear window or bumper. The rear camera is connected to the front camera via an included 6-metre cable. The cameras record simultaneously and the images are stored separately on the SD card. The image of the rear camera is displayed on the LCD screen via PiP (Picture in Picture), and at the touch of a button, the rear camera can also be displayed large in picture.
No additional power connection is required for the rear camera; it receives power via the cable that connects it with the front camera. However, it does have an additional power connection that can optionally be connected to the power supply of the reversing light. In that case, the image from the rear camera is displayed large on the LCD screen when the car is put into reverse. This way, the M63 4K can be conveniently used as a parking aid.
The M63 Pro 64gb is equipped with Wifi, making it easy to view all images via smartphone. The Wifi has a range of around 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. Via the app, images can be viewed and downloaded, eliminating the need to remove the SD card from the camera.
The M63 Pro 64gb has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also keeps track of the coordinates of the places filmed. This allows you to later use the supplied software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
To improve image quality and reduce reflections in the image, you can expand the dashcam with the optional universal CPL filter (see accessories). This filter acts like Polaroid sunglasses for the lens and can be useful in sunny conditions.
The M63 Pro 64gb has a sturdy self-adhesive mount that ensures the dashcam sticks securely and that recordings do not contain unnecessary vibrations. The mount is mounted on the windscreen with a 3M sticker and the dashcam is clicked into the mount. The lens is rotatable in all directions so it can always be adjusted to the right position. The camera comes with several self-adhesive 3M stickers and removable static pads. By placing these on the windscreen in front of the holder, you can remove the entire holder without leaving any streaks.
The AZDome M63 Pro comes with two holders. The extra holder is perfect for use in one additional vehicle. The holders are mounted on the windscreen with a 3M sticker and then you can easily switch the dashcam between the vehicles.
The M63 Pro 64gb dashcam features a convenient automatic parking mode. The parking mode features three options:
Time lapse only: The camera films continuously with Time lapse, including any rear camera. In this mode, the camera takes a picture every second that can later be played back as accelerated video. Time lapse is an economical recording mode which means the dashcam does not consume too much power and data. Therefore, up to 30 times more videos can be stored on the SD card.
Motion only: The camera is in standby mode (is on but not recording). When motion is detected, a normal 1-minute recording is started. This function only works for the front camera.
Off: The camera simply continues filming at the set resolution. Parking mode is not enabled.
When a vibration is detected in parking mode, the current recording is always saved securely so that it cannot be overwritten.
* The automatic parking mode of the M63 Pro 64gb only works in combination with the optionally available AZDome HM03R or OBD hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually. In combination with the hardwire kit, the camera automatically goes into parking mode when the car ignition is turned off and normal recording starts when you start the car again. So it's ideal to use this M63 Pro 64gb for car security.
The M63 Pro 64gb is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera just keeps on filming when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten for new footage. The length of the fragments can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be switched off, in which case the camera takes one long picture. Note that this will stop the camera from recording if the SD card is full.
The AZDome M63 Pro comes standard with a 64gb Micro SD card so you can start recording right away. The AZDome M63 also supports larger Micro SD cards up to 256gb. The 64gb card included can store around 12 hours of 2CH video in 4K.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at both very high and very low light intensities. This allows the camera to capture razor-sharp images both in daylight and at night in low light.
This M63 Pro 64gb has a wide-angle lens of 170˚ at the front and 150˚ at the back (optional). This allows a very large area to be observed.
The AZDome M63 Pro 64gb dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you no longer need to look at it when it is hanging in the car. The condition for this is that it is connected to the power supply in the car using the cigarette power supply. If you use the optional Hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch in and out of parking mode.
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically saved securely so they are no longer lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AZDome M63 Pro 64gb has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with a single touch of the screen.
The date, time and licence plate number can be displayed at the bottom of each video to later show when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be decisive when assessing situations and determining guilt for police and/or insurance.
This AZDome dashcam comes with a handy 3.5-metre USB cigarette power supply with extra USB port. The other USB port can be used for charging other devices such as your mobile phone.
