The AZDome GS63H is the first dashcam with 4K resolution (2880*2160p). This makes the image quality one of the best currently available. In addition to outstanding image quality, the AZDome GS63H has all kinds of other options, such as Wifi to view images wirelessly and built-in GPS to keep track of speed and coordinates. It also has a parking function to secure the car while parking and a G-sensor that allows it to detect accidents and automatically save files securely.
This AZDome GS63H comes with Dutch-language menu and digital Dutch-language manual, available under tab ‘downloads’ above.
Please note:
- Sometimes SD cards 64gb and larger in the camera are not recognised immediately. They must then first be formatted in the camera's menu.
- Some users report that the time keeps jumping several hours, in which case the Time Zone is not set correctly. This can be adjusted in the system menu and should be set to +2 in summer and +1 in winter.
4K resolution
The AZDome GS63H is equipped with the latest Novatek 96660 chip. Combined with the OV4689 4.0MP sensor, the camera films in razor-sharp 4K (2880p*2160p) at 24fps, unique for dashcams. This chip is known for its reliability and excellent image quality, even in the dark. HDR technology ensures perfect image quality in all weather conditions. Also, the dashcam can take pictures in 12M pixels.
Optional VGA rear camera
You can connect a VGA rear camera to the GS63H for rear view filming. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long cable and the images are simultaneously stored on the SD card.
Wifi compatibility
Because the AZDome GS63H is equipped with Wifi, all images can be easily viewed via smartphone. The Wifi has a range of about 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. Via the app, images can be viewed and downloaded, eliminating the need to remove the SD card from the camera.
256gb support
The AZDome GS63H supports MicroSD cards up to 256gb, allowing around 24 hours of filming in FullHD.
HDR
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to generate sharp images at very high and very low light intensities. As a result, the camera captures razor-sharp images both in daylight and at night in low light conditions.
2.4-inch LCD screen
The large 2.4-inch LCD screen on the GS63H makes setting up the functions dead easy. Of course, the screen also shows exactly what is being filmed, allowing you to set up the dashcam.
150˚ wideview lens
This GS63H has a 150-degree wide-angle lens. This allows a very large area to be observed, not only in front of the car but also in the surrounding area.
Loop recording
The GS63H is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera just keeps on filming when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten for new footage. The length of the fragments can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes.
Loop recording can also be switched off, in which case the camera takes one long picture. Note that this will stop the camera from recording if the SD card is full.
Built-in GPS
The AZDome GS63H has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also records the coordinates of the places filmed. This allows you to later use the supplied software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
Auto start
The AZDome GS63H starts filming automatically when the car is started. So you no longer need to look at it when it is hanging in the car. The prerequisite for this is that it is connected to the power supply in the car.
G-sensor
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an accident. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are no longer lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
Parking mode
The GS63H has a convenient parking mode function to secure the car when parked. In parking mode, the camera automatically starts filming when a movement or vibration is detected. It then records 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after that event.
Note: The AZDome GS63H's automatic parking mode only works in combination with the optional AZDome HM03R or OBD hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually.
16MP photos
In addition to filming, the AZDome also has the option of taking 16-megapixel photos. Useful for capturing the damage after an accident, for example.
HDMI output
The AZDome GS63H has an HDMI output to play images on another device. Images can be transferred live and played back on TV or computer, for example. Footage can also be viewed back through the dashcam. Please note that a Mini HDMI cable is required to transfer the footage.
Built-in microphone
The AZDome GS63H has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be switched off if required.
Date and time recording
The current time and date are always displayed on screen so that it can later be shown at what time the relevant recordings were made.
