This Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh is Cellink's entry-level battery pack. It is specially designed to use your dashcam's parking mode without putting a strain on the car's battery. The Neo5 has a 4500mAh capacity and its slim design allows you to neatly hide it in almost any car.
The Cellink Neo 5 comes with all necessary accessories for professional installation and integration into the vehicle. The Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh is made of durable materials and has a sturdy aluminium casing that can withstand a bump and fluctuations in temperature. This Cellink Neo 5 is the universal alternative to the BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery B-124E and is made by the same manufacturer.
Hardwire connection
The advanced Cellink Neo 5 4500mAh can be connected directly to a switched fuse or other power point in the car so that it is only charged while driving. After turning off the car ignition (and thus interrupting the power to the Cellink), the Cellink will automatically supply power to the dashcam together with a signal to activate the parking mode on the dashcam. So this way, you don't have to worry about it at all.
To transmit the signal to the dashcam, the Cellink Neo5 comes with a special 3-wire output cable. To this cable you connect the 3-wire continuous power supply of your dashcam (which you would normally connect at the car's fuse box).
Note: To use parking mode with a dashcam, the dashcam's Continuous power supply must be connected to the Cellink's 3-wire output. When using the Plug&Play cigarette output, parking mode will not work on most dashcams and the dashcam will just keep filming until the Cellink is empty.
Plug&Play connection
Exclusively from Allcam, the Cellink Neo 5 also comes standard with a cigarette charger and female cigarette plug so that the power bank can be connected and used very easily. Simply plug the supplied cigarette power input into the car and the dashcam's cigarette power supply into the female output of the Cellink Neo 5. Please note that with this connection, automatic parking mode via the 3-wire connection (parking mode on ignition) will not work. Only dashcams with visual automatic parking mode can therefore be used in parking mode using the Cellink Neo 6 Plug&Play method.
Up to 18 hours of power*
The Cellink Neo 5 charges while driving within 30 minutes (with hardwire power supply) and then provides up to 18 hours of power to the dashcam without putting further strain on the car battery. Once the Cellink is empty, the dashcam will switch off and not put any further strain on the car's battery.
* Usage time can vary greatly from one dashcam model to another. Dashcams with multiple active functions (Cloud, GPS etc.), higher resolution or multiple cameras consume more power and the operating time can then drop to around 6 hours.
